Sharon Chriscoe

As a child, SHARON CHRISCOE grew up reading lots of books. Her mom would sit with her and her sister and read for hours. She always loved to write her name inside her favorite books and claim them as her own. Some of her favorite books were Corduroy, Little Bear, and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. But as much as she loved reading as a child, she had never dreamed of becoming an author. That came about later in her life.

At the age of 32 to be exact. She was a wife and mother of three and her back porch had become the new playground for a stray cat and her kittens. One day as she and her family were watching the kittens play, her husband, Ricky, made a comment that would forever change her life. He said to her, “You should write a book about these kittens playing.” Her kids loved the idea, and so did she! The very next day she sat down and began writing a story about four little kittens and their mischief. Soon she discovered that writing was a passion, and she never looked back. That was in 2005!

Today, Sharon is a multi-published author who writes on the go in the bread truck she and her husband make deliveries with. She calls it her mobile office on wheels! Sharon lives in Pilot Mountain, North Carolina. She and her husband have three adult children and one granddaughter. When she’s not busy writing or on the bread route, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and vacationing at beaches as often as possible.
