Kaytlin Westbrook
KAYTLIN WESTBROOK is a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) and writer passionate about sharing stories that help all kids feel seen. Much of her writing is inspired by her work supporting children with disabilities and their families as well as her own life experiences related to inclusion, accessibility, and neurodivergence. As a reader, Kaytlin is drawn to stories that tug on her heart, keep her giggling, and make her want to read again and again. She hopes this is how you'll feel when reading her books, too!
Kaytlin lives in Kansas City with her husband and their smiley golden retriever mix. When she's not writing or working as an SLP, you might find her checking out a big stack of books from the local library, saying "yes" to ice cream, or convincing her husband it's time to plan their next beach vacation.
Kaytlin enjoys sharing about her love for children's literature and her author journey on her speech-therapy infused Instagram account @kayts.communication.corner. You can also stay in the loop by subscribing to her newsletter Kayt's Corner.
