Much of what KAYLA KENSINGTON learned about reading and writing she gleaned from school—the second time around. Employed as a middle school librarian, she’s privileged to spend her days surrounded by students and books. As a recent MFA graduate, she also teaches creative writing. Her own writing focuses on sweet and inspirational romance, as well as middle grade novels. Her first inspirational romance, Finding Her Family’s Love, was published by Mt Zion Press. 

 

Under a different name, she has traditionally published two nonfiction, Middle Grade books; a picture book; and many family and health related articles. 

 

Her three delightful, grown daughters like to joke that they’ve been replaced by three poodles. She and her husband and their pups live in suburban Chicago.
