Cheryl A. Johnson
CHERYL A. JOHNSON lives on a lake in Michigan where she spends her days with woods, water, and words. She can be found with a pen in one hand or a camera in the other as she’s inspired by the life right outside her door. She’s published in the anthology Detroit Voices and her stories have won awards with SCBWI and the Detroit Writing Room, as well as an honorable mention in the #PBChat Mentorship contest.
In 2024, Cheryl took part in her first ArtPrize, an international art competition held in Grand Rapids. Her artwork, Misty Morning Contemplation, is of a Great Blue Heron that was captured while kayaking one early foggy day.
