CARA KOMBOL is a project manager with a spreadsheet by her side and a story in her head. She lives in Seattle with her husband, two exceptional kids, and one very opinionated Havanese. Her writing is shaped by years of parenting outside-the-box children and a deep belief in the power of understanding both mind and body. She’s the creator of the patented Kanga Pouch Sensory Swing—designed to support regulation in neurodivergent kids—and the founder of Divergent Kids, a small business rooted in advocacy and practical tools for families.

 

When she’s not writing, working, or reading, Cara’s in the kitchen, preparing culinary creations for her picky pack… with decidedly mixed results.
