AMY HOUTS is an award-winning author of 100+ books for children featuring themes of love and friendship, holiday celebrations, and early learning concepts. Amy’s numerous short stories, articles, and poems have appeared in Ladybug Magazine, Highlights Hello, Children's Ministry Magazine.
Amy’s faith-based books include God’s Earth is Something to Fight For (Sunbeam/Bushel & Peck), Christian Q&A Book for Kids (Rockridge Press), and God’s Protection Covers Me (Beaming Books). Amy’s educational books include 60 retold fairy tales, fables, and classic stories for South Korean publisher Compass to help children learn English.
A former preschool teacher and children's librarian, Amy currently spends her days writing. Amy and her husband, Steve, live in rural Northwest Missouri, an hour from Steve’s family farm. They are the parents of two grown daughters and three grandchildren.
